About us
A small Plymouth team that does it properly
Based in Prince Rock and working right across Plymouth since 2013.
Who we are
Pipe Down Plumbing is a team of two plumbers, a Gas Safe registered heating engineer and an apprentice. We do everything from a dripping tap to a full bathroom, for homes, rentals and small businesses.
We are big enough to fit a bathroom in a week, and small enough that the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.
Yes, the name is a joke. We are quiet, tidy and easy to have around: no jargon, no pressure, and a straight answer about what really needs doing.
How we work
Fix the cause
We find out why a pipe leaked or a boiler failed, so it stays fixed, not just patched.
Tested before we go
Every joint pressure tested and every tap run, so you are not left with a drip.
Leave it tidy
Floors covered, boots off, and everything wiped down. You should only notice what we fixed.
Straight answers
A fixed written price, a clear date, and no pressure to book.
Qualifications and insurance
Gas Safe registered
All gas work is done by our Gas Safe registered engineer. Ask to see the card.
No drips guarantee
Every joint pressure tested. If one of ours leaks within 12 months, we come back free.
Fixed prices
A written price before we start, and no surprise extras on the bill.
£5m public liability
Fully insured for work in homes, rentals and small businesses.
Copies of our insurance certificate and qualifications are available on request.
