The family in this semi were running out of hot water every morning, and their old copper cylinder took hours to heat back up.
What we did
We removed the old cylinder and the cold water tank in the loft, and fitted a modern unvented cylinder. Unvented cylinders run at mains pressure, so the showers are stronger too. They must be fitted by someone with the right (G3) qualification, and the job is registered with Building Control.
The result
Plenty of hot water for a family of five, stronger showers, and a loft with one less tank in it.
